What was so hard to believe about Jesus
who performed so many miracles?

“Belief in his name”
‘Belief in his name’ is to be fully confident about his full identity.

Matt.10
[22] and you (Apostles) shall be hated of/ by all men (of Israel),
for my name's –identity’s- sake:
but he who endures -in steadfast faith in Jesus –
to the end -of his life- shall be saved.

Mat.24
[9] Then the Israelites shall deliver you (Apostles)
up to be afflicted (beaten) and they shall kill you (as martyrs)
and you (Apostles) shall be hated of/ by all nations ( Israelites and Gentiles)
because of >> my name's sake.

Mark.13
[13] And you shall be hated of/ by all men

John.15
[20] Remember the word
that I (the Mighty God) said to you (Apostles),
the servant is not greater than his lord.
If the Israelites have persecuted me (their righteous God),
they will also persecute you (for your righteousness/ goodness);
if the Israelites have kept my saying,
then they will keep yours (the Apostles’) also.
[21] But all of these (hurtful) things,
they will do to you (Apostles), for my name's sake,
because they do not know him (the Highest)
who sent me. (Israel is in GROSS darkness per Isaiah)

Acts.9
[15] But the LORD (Jesus) said to him, (Ananias)
Go your way:
for he (Paul) is a chosen vessel
to me, (= the Savior = the Mighty One)
to bear my name (my famous identity) before the Gentiles,
and kings, (of countries)
and the children of Israel:
[16] For I will show him (Paul)
how great things he must suffer,
(from the Israelite adversaries),
for my name's sake.

Rev.2
[2] I (Jesus) know your works,
and your labor (to help others)
and your patience,
and how you cannot bear the Israelites who are evil
and you have tried the Israelites who (falsely),
say that they are Apostles (sent by Jesus)
and are not
and you have found them to be liars: (liars = devils per Jesus)
[3] and you (the baptized and anointed sons of GOD)
have borne and have patience,
and you have labored,
for my name's (my Dignity and my Sacrifice’s) sake,
and you have not fainted.

3 John.1
[5] Beloved do faithfully,
whatever you do to the brethren and to strangers,
[6] who (they) have borne witness,
before the church,
of (about) your charity (love and good deeds)
whom if you bring (progress) forward,
on their journey,
after godliness,
you shall do well:
[7] Because that for his name's sake,
they went forth, taking nothing of/ from the Gentiles.

John.2

many (Israelites) believed in his name, (as the Christ)
when they saw the miracles that he did.
[24] But Jesus did not commit himself to them,
because he (the God of the Israelites), knew all Israelites
[25] and he did not need that anyone
should testify of the Israelite
for he (being their God),
knew what was in (the character of the Israelite) man.

Acts.3
[14] But you (Israelites)
denied the Holy One (the God of Israel)
and the Just (the righteous = good God),
and you (being evil) desired a murderer,
to be granted to you;
[15] And you killed the Prince of life,
whom GOD has raised from the dead
about which fact we (Apostles) are (eye) witnesses.
[16] And his name (as the Mighty God),
through faith in his name, (in his power as the Mighty God)
has made this (familiar) man, strong,
whom you see and you know.
The faith that is (given to us) by him (Jesus),
has given the man,
this perfect soundness (perfect health),
in the presence (eye witness)
of all of you (Israelites).

“Belief in his name”
that he was the Mighty God of Israel,
who lived among men like a man,
and in apparent weakness,
the famous and Strong God of Israel,
was killed by men.
However,
he was giving himself as a ransom for the sins of men.

Below Paul explained,
to the Gentiles,
the role of the Holy Spirit in knowing Jesus’ full identity.

1Cor.2
[1] Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren,
I would not have you ignorant (unaware).
[2] You know that you were (unlearned) Gentiles,
(who were) carried away
to these dumb (useless) idols (and not to the living GOD of Israel)
even like you were led (by your Priests)
[3] Therefore I give you (AWARENESS), to understand,
that no man (who is) speaking by the Spirit of GOD
calls Jesus (GOD’s beloved Son),
accursed (by his Father who loves him)
and that no man can (CONFIDENTLY) say,
that Jesus is the LORD, (the God of Israel),
but by (revelation from) the Holy Ghost.

From martyrdom to glorification and immortality.

Rev.20
[4] And I saw thrones (for kings),
and they sat upon them,
and judgment was given to them:
and I saw the souls of them (the Christians)
who were beheaded (were martyred)
for the witness (Testimony)
of (about) Jesus (that he was the God of Israel whom they crucified)
and (also) for the Word of GOD,
who had not worshipped the beast,
nor his image,
nor had accepted his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands;
and they lived (immortally) and reigned with Christ,
(for) a thousand years.

whose name = identity is the Mighty God,
