BAGHDAD – The message played over loudspeakers gave the Christians of Iraq's second-largest city until midday Saturday to make a choice: convert to Islam, pay a tax or face death.

A lot of Muslims are not. But we need to look at the large growing population of these guys who want to return to the way things were and impose Sharia on everyone

Mohammad didn't start out as violent until he had gained a larger following that supported him and his teaching.

They are violent because their teachers train them to be. Further, this is nothing new to them. We were told these things back when our nation was founded in part to protect ourselves against the Barbary Pirates (who happened to be Muslim). It was under this banner that they advanced across north Africa and conquered the Iberian Peninsula, only to be evicted after more than 700 years of warfare. They conquered all the way to Venice in the east under this policy. Why then do we believe that they will not attempt to do the same thing again?
