Open Letter to All

Since one was addressed to me I will reply to all.:thumbsup

Some on this forum I have been posting with since Jim Yohe's FCF and become friendly to even though we have fervently disagreed. It was very different then and many of you have changed and I am afraid not for the better.
I have remained the same doctrinally and my manner of posting. I do not nor ever have rejoiced over anyone being lost. A friend started that All Trinitarians are Lost on that forum to stir the pot since we had many on that forum who were Pentecostal but didn't believe the necessity of the new birth message or the necessity of believing the Oneness message. The fussing was fun.
Since many of you do not even go to a Oneness church and not only do not believe the necessity of the Oneness message and in truth despise your birthright I understand you being offended. All I can say is too bad.
My doctrinal positions are absolutes not changing with the wind I have zero desire to please you. Do I want to offend you personally or do I say personal remarks against you? Nope. Unless it is some light sarcasm in fun.
Those who have went through personal ordeals I have prayed for you. On one poster I helped convert back to the truth.
Baptism in Jesus Name, tongues, holiness, church attendance, preachers in general are mocked here on regular basis. Yet folks of my ilk are suppose to take it on the chin and say nothing.
But you let one of us say something about what the majority of us believed and lived at one time then all hell breaks loose. Your skin is as thin as a rotten tomato. Bless your heart.:happydance
I do not have my feelings on my sleeves and not offended by someone who hides behind a moniker like a klansman who runs around in a hood and sheet at night. I have always from day 1 used my name where I would be accountable for what I post. Have I posted posts in heat and regretted them? I most certainly have and have tried to be quick to apologize which normally has been ridiculed.
You might not like me nor what I believe but you are never in doubt where I stand and I stand the same on issues I stood when I started posting years ago on FCF. AND I am NOT going to change.

Bro. Epley, I realize your beliefs are "set in stone", but may I ask you this one question sincerely?

Do you teach "perfect" truth? Please answer me...yes or no.

I admire someone standing for what they believe is right. I also admire people who admit when they are wrong. Your posts were straight forward about SP, but if you know something that he has done that has completely crossed the line then I understand your feelings. Some things are better left unsaid though, which you have basically already said.

I don't know you nor Steve Pixlar personally so it has offended me at all. Just been a lot of gossip, I probably don't need to know anyway. Wish you well and looking forward to future posts.

Bro. Epley I don't have a problem with what you believe (though I believe you are wrong), but with your arrogance and hatred toward other Christians (specifically those who don't fit YOUR subjective definition of apostolic), such as myself.

It may well be that the all trinitarians are lost thread goes back years, but it reveals the attitude of those who originally posted it towards the very people Jesus shed His blood for AND nobody forced you to resurrect the thread and repeatedly make harsh sweeping statements against all trinitarians of all times, as well as all those who are oneness but you deem as compromisers. Its not just one thread, but hundreds and probably thousands of vitriolic and inflammatory posts by you over the years aimed at your fellow Christians which has earned you the reputation of the more PC version of Reckhart and Winter.

You lament those of us who don't see many of your sacred cows as essential yet you cannot do something so simple as provide us scriptural exegesis of why a man cannot have facial hair, a woman cannot wear a ring, and a man can't wear a pair of shorts.

My problem isn't what you believe, but the fact that you can't prove most of it with scripture. Let's start some new threads and discuss only the scriptural merits of what you say many of us have left.

Truth be told some of us did leave oneness Pentecostalism, and in the process it is true that some turned from Christ. But many of us who left OPism did not turn away from Christ, nor the scripture, nor His people. Only from bad theology, legalism, and totalitarian leadership. Truth be told we left you, not Christ, and THAT is why you are offended and feel the need to condemn us to hell.

I would like to congratulate you on having arrived at the level of Christianity that never needs to change.

I changed from being a non-Christian to being a Christian,
I changed from being totally ignorant of God's word to teaching it.

Since I have not arrived at the full knowledge of God, I expect to continue to change more with time as I learn more about the Bible.
Congratulations on having arrived.

Jason, Brother Epley didnt go quite far enough in trying to explain the genisis of "all trinitrians are lost" tHreads.

There was a time when FCF was quite a busy place and both sides went at it pretty hard... and walked away smiling about it.... and sometimes when we walked away with a bit of a brused ego... but every side of every issue was defended in exactly the same way. ATRL was just a single thread among many that was involved. its the only one that seems to be left from those old days.

but you seem to thing that Elder Epley and those of us who believe the Water/Spirit doctrine "hate". that just isnt true and the history of where this forum came from matters.

The sad thing is Charnok knows this. He seems to have decided revisionist history is the better part.

bad form Charnok, bad form!
