Social Stinking?
Yea or Nay?
Of course y'all know how I would feel. Do you find it acceptable? :bigbaby |
Re: Social Stinking?
funny, but i'm sure many of us have had the talk or had to give the talk about altar workers grooming habits and bad breath.
"wear some deodorant, get your suit dry cleaned every now and then, pop a mint before you pray with someone." |
Re: Social Stinking?
I sweat alot and I work two and three days at a time.Body odor is a huge pet peeve of mine and sometimes Im tortured because Ill be hot and sweaty but Ill be in line for the next call...I may not run a call again the entire shift but because I have to be ready at a moments notice I can't risk taking a shower.I end up reapplying deodorant. ....changing clothes and cropdusting myself with body spray and always chewing gum.I am worse about gum than some people are with cigarettes lol.

Re: Social Stinking?
Well guys, if they would turn the music way down at the altar call, we wouldnt have to speak so close to these folks. We have to yell in their ears at many churches.

Re: Social Stinking?
I've always wondered, what did people use years ago before deodorant was invented? Can you imagine how stinky things must have been before deodorant?
|
Re: Social Stinking?
actually research shows that in some people deodorant causes the body to produce even more bacteria that causes body odor...so maybe it wasn't as bad as you'd think...then again....maybe it was...
