I think the holiness Pentecostal world would do well to honestly evaluate many of their traditions in the light of Truth. However, honestly doing so would then put leaders in a difficult spot of choosing to continue to preach tradition or to preach the Truth.

Bingo! The absolute authority of the pastor which is a cornerstone of old time Pentecost would be at risk if they ever admitted that anything that has been taught as being biblical in fact is not.
