Bamacare

I had a meeting at work to discuss insurance coverage. Dental care was not offered. I guess I can live with missing amalgams. Really. The health benefits offered are comparable to Obamacare C. Nothing more was offered. I would pay approximately $160/mo for coverage that covers NOTHING until after I pay out $6,000. Mmkay, no. I waived coverage. I guess I'll look into Obamacare. Ugh.

I created an account on the O-care website. I was filling out an app... then I was logged out. I attempted to sign in several times with no success.

:/

I want to know how many insurance companies contributed to Obama's campaign

Re: Bamacare

The sad reality is, that in the long run the insurance companies will be put out of business and/or taken over by the government. The health care industry will ultimately suffer a shortage of doctors (because we can already see from medicare/medicaid that the government is awful about paying doctors for their work) and we, the people, will lose one of the best health care systems in the world.

People who look at this so-called "health care bill" and see only how it benefits them and their insurance costs, are short-sighted at best and utterly ignorant at worst.

Re: Bamacare

I think this mixed up program of government/private cooperation isn't going to work. The insurance system has to be either an entirely free market health insurance or a single payer system. It's all or nothing in both directions or it ends up lopsided and unsustainable.
