Do you have any suggested books on prayer besides these 5?

Good books. I know Bro Holman. He has written several books. He has a newer one called Alter Builders

I agree with Praxeas, good books you have listed. Bro. Holman has another book on prayer, Conquest Through Prayer. I have read The Intercessors and Conquest Through Prayer many, many times.

Sis. Vesta Mangun has a book, The Best of Vesta Mangun that covers prayer.

Also, Bro. Dale Starks wrote a book, Turn Up The Heat (Five Levels of Prayer).

I have some other books on prayer here somewhere, at the moment I can't recall the titles. When I'm able, I will take a look and post the info. here.

Yea, I've been meaning to buy that book. All his books are life changing.

I definitely agree. Holman's books are awesome.

Thank you for the suggestions. I'm definitely going to look into them.

Years ago I was reading a book by Andrew Murray and I was enthusiastic about it, then he mentioned the trinity, that was like a bucket of ice water, I just lost all interest in it.

Yea, I get that way too. Like Elmer Towns has some good books on prayer but he ruins it when he starts talking about the trinity. However, his book on fasting is good because he uses scripture about that and doesn't mention trinity.

When I read a book, often there are some things I don't agree with, but if I agree with the overall premise of the book, I will continue to read. Sometimes you have to pull the bones out of the fish. I enjoy reading Andrew Murray, he has a lot of great spiritual insight, and while I might not agree on his trinity terminology, doesn't mean I won't at least hear the rest of what he has to say.
