Why is it impossible to prove Jesus is not God?

Because dual nature doctrine teaches that there's not a single quality which a person can possess that bars him from also being able to be God.

Therefore, it's impossible to prove Jesus is not God. However, because of that it's also impossible to prove that any person alive today is not God. Why? Because whose to say John Doe doesn't have a dual nature as well? Whose to say I don't? Whose to say you don't?

So yes, dual nature doctrine makes it impossible to prove that Jesus is not God, but at what cost does it do so?

I think that is an incorrect assessment. It is not that any single quality cannot bar a person from being God, but rather that ONE PERSON IN EXISTENCE is God and nothing can hinder Him from manifesting in flesh as a man, seeing He is omnipotent.

Humans are not omnipotent. I think what you said is upsidedown.

... not to try to add to Brother BLume's already impecable response to this...proposal.... but at the risk of exposing myself to nonsense.... here goes...

one single atribute... SINLESS....not that that really matters. As Brother Blume points out, it was not that the man Jesus COULD be God... as a function of some personal atribute, rather, that there is nothing that can stop God from doing whatever He wants.

Okay, I don't mind using your terminology. "that ONE PERSON IN EXISTENCE is God and nothing can hinder Him from manifesting in flesh as a man, seeing He is omnipotent." God could be manifesting himself right now in the flesh as John Doe, or as mfblume, or as jfrog. Whose to say he isn't?

Oh and Jesus wasn't omnipotent as a man and yet he was still God...
