It is now official

I am a man without a denomination.

BUT I am NOT a man without a Savior, and OH what a Savior!

I received word from the District office today that national headquarters reports to them that my license is now lapsed because I did not pay dues for this quarter. They were writing to inquire if I would like to begin the process for reinstatement. I will be writing the District Superintendent this week to kindly decline any offer of reinstatement.

I am Pentecostal to the core. I love all the major Pentecostal organizations but simply cannot in good conscience sign an affirmation of agreement with any of them. I'm not intentionally trying to be "different" but I am nevertheless.

Please pray for us that we keep a right spirit and attitude before God, and for his blessed will in our lives. Thank you.

praying for you and yours.

Congrats. I wouldn't have let it go due to lack of payment. They get testy over that , should one ever choose to rejoin the mothership again. At least that's what I'm told. I would have made a call to my presbyter, told him my intentions and went from there. Just me. Been thinking of offering my license (UPCI) as an burnt offering unto the Lord these days. Reason: I really don't fit into the culture and I don't care to send tithe/ dues to those I don't view as spiritual leaders to me. I have a pastor for that. Once again, just me.

I never was licensed with the UPC but held an appointed position for a short time. I can understand your position. For me after getting back bitten enough times I had the opportunity to take a job transfer to a different state and jumped on it. I had opportunities to further myself but was content being a saint in my local church.

Orgs sure have a way of attracting politicians...hence the back-biting. I've been in ministry in one form or another for the last 20yrs. I got a license only at my pastors request 8yrs ago. As an evangelist, I was never asked if I held one even when preaching UPC churches. As a pastor, the only ones who cared if I was licensed or not was the old school UPC'ers that considered our assembly for their home. Anymore, I'm finding relationships are where it's at when preaching in another pulpit or simply reaching the lost and hurting. Don't get me wrong, orgs have their place. I'm not sure I have a place in orgs. My relationship with God, family and my pastor is good enough for me.

Just go back to the A/G bro and be a good Christian church member.

Neither UPCI or A/G are 100% on point on everything, but at least you know what to expect from them and they're more correct than the UPCI when it comes to salvation.

I had been around it all for quite some time when all that happened and still was blindsided. Not about little complaints and all but a group going behind your back to complain about something that I had no idea about. Got to admit it stung pretty bad.

In the end I couldn't get over how jealous and envious folks that where suppose to be your brothers and sisters in the Lord could be.

Yep. I remember starting our church, the carnalist came out of the wood work. I had pastors try to trash me and my motives but really couldn't say a lot because I was virtually unknown. I didn't have a license then. Ha ha . Had a former district superintendent apologies for his criticism, I didn't kiss the org ring and ask for permission. Too late that cat was out of the bag. My response was to know Jesus and win souls. After awhile they all shut up, can't argue against good results. I guess. Politics , agendas and backstabbing are everywhere people organize. It's wrong and hurtful but it is a fact, unfortunately.

I would not be accepted. I am a "three stepper". It would not be fair to the AG pastor if I was undermining his authority by teaching the Oneness doctrine and that the baptism in the Spirit is the new birth. I think the AG stand on the new birth has ended up sending allot of people to Hell.
