Prayer for drug addiction
 

My brother and sister-in-law are in need of immediate prayer. They are both struggling with a heroin addiction. Right now, they have no running water in their home and are in danger of losing everything. It is a very sad, sad situation.

That is so very sad and terrible! Will pray that through this the Lord will be able to reach into their hearts and deliver them from the addiction that has them bound!

Thank you for your prayers. I have been praying for them for many years. I have faith that this year God will sweep in and save them. I am going this week to take them the word of God again, praying that their hearts will be ready.

Praying for them. I lost a good friend to heroin a few years back.

This is just amazing, thanks for all the prayers. I decided to go tonight instead of waiting until the end of the week. They were very receptive and hopefully will go to church this weekend. While praying with them the Holy Ghost was very strong. We all started crying. I am so excited, all praise and glory to our God. He works fast!!!

Yesterday some of my family members came against me for visiting them. I don't understand but it definitely feels like a spiritual battle.

It IS a spiritual battle.

Just remember, each Christian is part of the answer to their own prayers...

Heroin addiction is the worst habit to quit. The withdrawals are horrible so if they do stop they are going to need to be in a place where somebody who is clean to be with them 24/7 for 2-4 weeks. It will not be easy.
I will be praying for them and you.
