I thought it was a great interview. I felt they handled everything the way a normal Christian family, or any family, would handle it. They answered a lot of questions that were distorted in the media.

Glad they were able to speak about this with Megyn.

I liked what the father said about being able to help others after the records were illegally unsealed. They are seeking counsel as to what is the next step - lawsuit. I think they need to sue the woman who did this to them because it is important she is also held accountable.

I don't know what religion they are. The father gave a good interview. He seems to be a sensible man. Of course, we always hold our breath hoping nothing else comes out.

One thing that was important, IMO, is the Harpo people, i.e. Ophrah getting the information in 2006, which she shouldn't have had being juvenile records are supposed to be sealed. Anyway, the information was investigated further and dropped because all of the witnesses testified that after his counseling session there were no more issues. The family moved on after doing everything they could, after talking with other families confirming they have dealt with the same issues, and some much worse.

Now, even after that, the media wants to drag this out in the open again. The reason - because they are against abortion and same-sex marriage. The Liberals hate that and want to destroy their lives. That has begun with the cancelling of their show on TLC and they won't quit until the son's life is destroyed.

I was initially concerned about the boy's age - 14. But after hearing what his father had to say and how it was all handled, I wasn't as concerned about it. The main reason being - the boy came and told his parents. A lot of children wouldn't normally do that. His father also said that after another incident they felt they should turn him in or the situation would hang over his head for the rest of his life. I think that is good parenting. If you can't help your child at the outset and he continues to break the law, turn him in.

I remember an incident where the police came by my house because they thought our son might have been with some boys who broke into a place and stole some things. I invited them in and went to search his room. They stayed in the kitchen, because they couldn't do a search and seizure without paperwork. If anything was there, I would have turned him over to the police. Fortunately, it was someone else and he wasn't involved. The point being, if he was involved and I covered for him, he would have committed more crimes as he got older not having learned accountability.

Lots of hate out there for the Duggar family. I keep going back to the fact that Josh reported his actions to his parents. IMO, that is a good sign. It shows he knew what he did was wrong, that he was guilty and that he needed help.

Reading comments on-line, you can quickly feel conflicted about the issue, but this article is very good and shows the hypocrisy of the Liberals who would like to see this family destroyed.

The kid just turned 14. He admitted what he did. He grabbed a boob, he didn't rape them.

I read that they are Baptist. I think we need to pray for them. I don't think I have ever seen their program - don't know if we can get it, but from what I have read, they were a good wholesome family - honored God, family, the Bible, Church. The devil doesn't want anything good on TV. Just look at all the programs that promote homosexuality, adultry, fornication and the world laughs about it. I won't watch the programs but I see them advertized and it is just plain disgusting. COME QUICKLY LORD JESUS.

He molested five girls, some of who were his own sisters. Far from just grabbing a boob. The family covered this up. The dad took him to a state trooper friend of his. This guy didnt report it to the authorities. This trooper friend of his was later popped for child porn. Jeez I wonder why he didnt report it (SARCASM)Again dude is against gay marriage, but is a child molester. Two loving people of legal age cant marry, but he can molest his sisters.

I never said that you said that. I said you probably feel that way. I stand by that statement, especially since you finish your post by promoting gay marriage. BTW, you can't be promoting gay marriage on AFF.

The family didn't "cover it up." They're not required to report it.

A lot of messed up people grew up in a "Godly conservative family." Just because a kid was raised by Godly conservative parents, doesn't mean the kid will continue to be a Godly conservative teenager or adult.

No, he can't. He did, felt convicted, told his parents and was disciplined for it.

The Duggars handled it well. Easy for you liberals to sit back and judge.
