Cheaters!
 

I put it off as long as I could...but 3 years ago I turned 40, and just as I warned my eyes would soon need these cheaters! Seems pretty common for the eyes to have to start pulling the books farther from the face after 40....
I just hate that. Always had great eyesight, but those days are behind me I guess...time for some reading specs

That happen to anyone else when U ever hit your 40's?

My wife says its from staring at this tiny smartphone for hours...she's probly right

I got glasses about two years ago (I was 45). I have astigmatism but I've always put up with it. I started having trouble seeing up close so I got reading glasses. Looking down at my Bible and then taking them off to see the preacher got old pretty quick. I already needed glasses for the astigmatism, so I broke down and got bifocals. I didn't have eye insurance so I got the cheapest I could. They have a line between the two lenses. I completely hate the line so I added the insurance and got glasses without the line. They took some time to get used to.Everything skews on the edges. If I have a headache they can make me motion sick and dizzy. I rarely have a problem and I don't plan to go back to the set with a line.

i'm 53, and have managed to put off glasses with carotenoids, vitamin A compounds. Still have to limit my screen time tho.

22 days till I get cheaters I guess. That's when I go over the hill.:highfive

I have had to wear reading glasses for several years now. For the most part it is just reading and computer work.
I had 20/20 vision most my life, notice my eye site was going 10 years ago when I struggled to thread a sewing needle, something I could focus on the smallest things.

i can read a newspaper in the dark again, with these pills :D
