Song My Wife Wrote And Performs

Some of the videos portray real life in the background, as we are the parents of three young children. The a/v quality is what it is, being just a low-end digital camera, or laptop webcam, but the performances still show through, I think.

Regarding a few of the videos, the piano my wife played on is slightly out of tune, and so, the music might not sound as good as the other videos, since the other songs were performed on an electric keyboard.

Lastly, each song deals with a vastly different theme, so none of the songs below are related to one another.

I hope you enjoy and are blessed,

Aaron

Thanks for sharing. She has a very good voice! However, you do need to take the time to record after the kids have gone to bed to get a recording without the distracting background noise. Her voice and the songs are good enough that they deserve that (as well as those of us taking time to listen)!

I really like the "Resurrection and the Life". I think your wife's voice is beautiful and soothing. I can listen to her sing all night, on a cd, on repeat, like I do with some other Christian songs.

"Suffer That Woman," is kind of peppy and great listening.

Am I the only one who has a problem referring to Jesus Christ as my brother?

Theologically, this is probably correct and I am open to be educated on the premise.

Savior, Son of God, God, even friend... but brother?

Thanks, everyone. I will pass on to my wife the compliments.

Many of these were recorded when we lived in an apartment, and I worked third shift, so getting the kids to bed and recording afterward was out of the question.

We have an opportunity to record an album for her (she has additional songs that we haven't made videos of yet). Hopefully we can get it all together soon.

As far as calling Jesus brother, refer to the following verses of Scripture:

Hebrews 2:9-12,

Quote:

9. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
11. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12. Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
And Romans 8:29,

Quote:

29. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Matthew 28:10,

Quote:

Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
All three passages are clearly about Jesus, and both show that the man Christ Jesus had men, disciples, He declared to be His brothers.

He was and is not ashamed to call such people brothers, and so, neither my wife or I am ashamed to call Jesus our brother. We are His disciples, His students, and are members of His Father's family. He is the firstborn; we were born again and adopted (obviously much!!!) later.

Your wife is a wonderful singer !!!!

But,
You are very goofy, whaaooow? This writing of yours blows me away, to think dat u would have dis. to think that you would believe this enough to try to justify... it borders on blasphemy.

Ephesians 3:14-15,

Quote:

14. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15. Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named
C'mon, bro. Get your head in the game! Jesus has a Father; we call rightly call Him God. He has a family, both in heaven, and on earth. Christian believers are members of that family. Jesus is the firstborn son and oldest brother of this family. This is New Covenant Scripture 101.

Any how, let's not make this post a Theology/Christology debate.
