America bears some of the blame for the bloody wave of Islamic extremism that has brought terrorism to San Bernardino, Paris and locations around the world, according to a spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

In a Friday CNN interview, Hussam Ayloush, of the group's Los Angeles chapter, said American foreign policy has helped fuel the rage that drives Muslim radicals to kill in the name of their faith.

Sounds like a flimsy excuse to keep doing it.

These guys NEVER tell their radicalized comrades they will go to hell for murdering innocent folks or committing suicide.

They condone these acts, by saying nothing about it.

i will say that the US has turned a corner when even CAIR is condemning now.

Condemning who, the US or the terrorists? CAIR is a silent supporter of terror. It's just like them to offer excuses for terrorism and try to blame the US.

CAIR should be labeled a terror supporter and shut down.

Funny thing about terrorists--none of them see themselves that way. "Terrorist" is a label made to put on people to divide them from the rest of humanity. You, who support the world's largest arms dealers, and bring guns to church, might bristle at being called a terrorist, would you not?

CAIR has been very vocal in condemning violence since its inception, and the rhetoric in this article is hardly inflammatory. Terrorism was invented by US policy, which is pretty clear to anyone who has been witness to US policy long enough. You might kid yourself that we are somehow defending the country from "terrorism"--since the Russians don't seem to want to be enemies anymore--or you can recognize that you are sowing seeds.

Please post where CAIR has been "very vocal" in condemning terror attacks by muslims. They certainly didn't do that here. They blamed America and offered excuses for the terrorists, which is what I've read and heard of them over and over.

But perhaps I missed a time or two. Please post where they did.
