1 in 150 Chance!
 

I like entering sweepstakes and do so on a pretty regular basis. I am careful to only enter legit ones though and not the scams for time shares, etc. The only thing big I have ever won was about 12 years ago when Buy.com was on the rise they had a weekly sweepstakes I would enter when I thought of it or was buying something from them. I won a $500.00 digital camera and some accessories.

Yesterday I received a telephone call telling me that I was one of 150 finalist in a Bud Lite - Mapco (convenience store) sweepstakes I had entered where the Grand Prize is a 2015 Nissan Titan pickup. I remembered entering the sweepstakes so knew it was legit.

This Friday the 150 finalists (or those that show up) will meet at a Mapco store in Nashville and will each be given a key. Whoever has the key that starts the truck wins it.

150 to 1 are very long odds but certainly better than any other chance I will ever have to win a $40,000 pickup!

I have a out of state business meeting that afternoon I had to push out but I will be there. I don't expect to win but it should be fun and it is exciting to know there is a chance no matter how slight! Cross your fingers and say a prayer for me this Friday 2/26/16.

returnman, I agree. I also am curious as to how far along the winning key is found. I don't think I want to be right at the first but maybe about 1/3 to 1/2 way in line. I am just wondering how they have this convenience store and parking lot set up to handle 150 people at one time! Maybe it has or is next to a big parking lot. We are supposed to get there at 11 am to register and the key drawing starts at noon. Supposed to be finished at 1 pm.

There were about 133 finalists there to draw a key. I was #34 out of the 133. #23 won! She seemed like a very nice lady so I was happy for her.
