Cruz makes pact with dark side (L)

Ted turns sleazy.

This will come back to haunt him when the establishment throws him under the bus after they're finished with him. He should also consider that the people of South Carolina rejected him.

You missed the part where Kasich is doing the same thing. Is Kasich "sleazy" as well?

It's also well within the rules and has been done for a long time.

There are "rules", and there is precedent. Both candidates were soundly rejected by the voters and those voters will not warm up to these guys, especially if the delegates betray them.

Yes, Trump won SC. He kicked Cruz's tail there. But again, this is how contested conventions go. If the leading candidate doesn't win the full delegate count needed to win the nomination outright, other candidates may try to sway voters to switch sides after the first ballot.

Kasich staff went to SD and did the same thing with Trump delegates.

This isn't anything new started by Cruz.

Amazing though, that in the 8 Presidential elections I've voted in (not including 2016), such dealings were hardly heard of. The will of the voters, right or wrong, was followed.

That's because the last close election for the GOP was back in 1976. GOP nominees typically have been able to win the nomination outright by reaching the full delegate count required.
