I read people's comments when Charisma posted about this. So much hysteria. People were saying that these will be portals for the demons to enter/exit. Thing is, demons don't need portals or gateways. They have inhabitted earth since their fall.

The Nazi occultists believed that black supernatural powers needed to gain access in various different ways.

Hence the statue of Shiva in front of the European Organization
for Nuclear Research. The Nazi Bell was rimmed along the bottom of the structure with ancient runes. The use of certain items were always employed by those who practiced the occult. Also the use of the hexagram and pentagrams in ritual magic. So, does a demon need something to gain entry? How about being given an invitation?

A little logic here....the arches don't scare me. What scares me is what the arches may mean to some people. I'm certain there are some occultist who are pretty stoked right now. As someone who enjoys history, this sort of thing interests me but it belongs in a museum not Time Square.

Meanwhile people whine and complain about Ten Commandments monuments.

Last year, Madonna was supposed to open the gates of hell during one of her performances in DC.

Each year it's something new. Blood moons. Madonna's opening of hell. Now these arches.

Btw, the only arches I'm interested with are yellow and the building on which they're affixed sells spicy chicken sandwiches and French fries. :nod
