Many of you know that I have been real sick probably the sickest I have ever been. I have had a tropical disease ...I am going to try to paste our newsletter here as we tell a little bit about it.

Three days ago they changed my medicine and I have been able to walk without great pain....I really appreciate those that have prayed for me even if you don't believe in women preachers! ha... Oh well...I am no threat to anyone....never have even claimed to be a preacher just a missionary. Never been ordained...lol....but yes I grew up under Sister A O Holmes and she was quite a preacher. Wish I had the ability to make hell sound so terrible and heaven so sweet like she did....

The doctors have told me because of my immune system and heart problems if I get bit again it will be fatal....However my life is in His hands....Sould He chose to take me I can say Mission Accomplished....if He should choose for me to stay a while longer I will keep telling the beloved Brazilians about His plan for them....

There were days I could not even walk at all and if I tried I screamed in pain....and those that know me know that is not like me.....

Thanks so much...had a little pain early this morning but am better now....the poison stays in your body for a long time the nurse told me last night...and last night was the first night I tried to say anything in church...I overdid it somewhat. I was supposed to speak on mother's day but was able so they changed it for last night...Anyway the Lord helped me and I spoke on a Woman of Noble character....the people seemed to enjoy it and hope I helped them.
