Seems to be common--- saints are angels at death?
I am surprised at some folks I personally know who talk about their late loved ones who were saved as angels in God's presence now. Anyone else hear much of this?

I recently heard an elder, speaking of his impending funeral, request that someone please make mention of the fact that he was once a sinner saved by the grace of God and washed in His blood. He said he's tired of funerals that make like the deceased were perfect and had no need of a savior. There will be a song in heaven that the Angels cannot sing, "Thank God for The Blood!". |

Mormons believe that everyone was an angel and will become angels (or demons) at death.

This is Catholic doctrine and led to the mostly universal belief in the innate immortal soul which most Christians believe. It certainly is not apostolic as it is not part of the gospel. Immortality begins with the resurrection.
