In light of all the accusations by some posters on here claiming that Trump supporters and conservatives in general "hate immigrants", let's consider recent Mexican mob violence at recent Trump rallies.

At these "protests" we see seas of Mexican flags and the desecration of the Stars and Stripes. Therefore, these protestors are not people simply protesting because they feel their rights as Americans are somehow threatened by a possible Trump presidency. Rather, these are foreign invaders and American traitors boldly pledging allegiance to a foreign power. The "America traitors" I speak of are Americans of Mexican descent, most of whom are native born, and who make up the majority of these protestors. These are people who would not live in Mexico under any circumstances, but relish the thought of the American southwest being recaptured and annexed by Mexico. This does not say very much for their intelligence level, does it?

I probably have more time and experience working with the Mexican community in the USA than most on AFF combined. Since 1998 I have spent countless hours and days among native born American teens of Mexican descent. I have been shocked at the amount of these kids who say things like, "I might have been born here (America) but I consider myself from there (Mexico), or "I consider myself 100% Mexican" or "I have never considered myself to be an American". Folks, this is an ominous sign for things to come. Most of these kids are children of illegal alien parents. Allot of them have never set foot on Mexican soil! Yet they pledge full allegiance to Mexico.

This is one of the main reasons I support Trump. It is time to abolish birthright citizenship to the children of illegals and to delay full citizenship of the children of legal residence until they turn 21 years of age and have demonstrated a love and loyalty to America.

Yes, I hope Trump deals harshly with traitors who live among us. I also hope he deals harshly with the corrupt American bureaucrats,politicians and judges who are the benefactors of these alien invaders.

God bless all loyal Americans, regardless of where their they may have been born.

Well said.

There is racism on both sides. I hate how if you wanna crack down on illegal immigration, you are labeled a racist. Illegal isnt a race. Its not my fault that latinos are the poster children of illegal immigration in America.

Agreed. I have numerous latino/hispanic friends and relatives.
Most of them are supporting Trump.
They see this country becoming like the countries they left.
Guess that makes them racists, as well.

1) These protests were awful. As much as I dislike Trump and his ilk, I do not wish any of them harm. It's infuriating that the police stood down while people were being assaulted and they did nothing about it. The PD should be ashamed of their cowardice and inaction against these protesters.

2) Waving Mexican flags while tearing up and burning USA flags?!! I have questions and doubts on this. Personally I believe these morons are AstroTurf activists who were paid to do this. And I don't believe they were paid by a pro-illegal group either. These groups well remember the backlash from a few summers ago when they had a march and waved Mexican flags. So I have a hard time believing this was a real protest.

3) I worked several years with INS as an analyst and adjudicator, I have extended relatives from Mexico, was a worship leader in a Hispanic church for a decade and currently live and work in an area with a majority of Hispanics.

The overwhelming majority do not agree with the protesters. I have met many who do and it's irritating and frustrating.

I don't like illegal immigration at all. Having worked in immigration I know how generous we are at accepting legal immigrants. But I've also hugged and prayed for families who were being split by deportation.

It's easy to be a keyboard warrior and post demands that immigrants be deported. It's something else entirely to witness the effects of deportation first hand.

I believe our laws should be enforced. And I hope these thugs who assaulted the men and women who attended the Trump rally are identified and arrested.

Last note: We have lived on a block which ends in a cul de sac for over the past three years. When we moved here, we were the ONLY white family on the block. I'm not exaggerating. Next to us is the only black family. Everyone else is Hispanic.

I have never, not once in our almost four years of living here, seen a Mexican flag on a post, in a window or anywhere else. What I have seen is each patriotic holiday, dozens of American flags on poles, attached to doorposts, hanging from balconies, etc.

I was horrified by the videos of the attacks. People being hit from behind, the lady pelted with eggs. I seriously thought someone was going to be killed.

All while the police stood around and did nothing.

And then the reporting was terrible. One reporter's first question to a victim who was bleeding from the head was asking if the victim did something to provoke the attack. As though the victim was the instigator, and the protesters were innocent.

I don't believe in amnesty, and I know there's no possible way to deport all the illegals, and I believe our laws should be enforced, but I honestly don't know how or where to begin.

Perhaps,

#1, we have to enforce the border. The National Guard of each border state should be dispatched to patrol the border and enforce the law. And they should be armed, due to cartels and drug runners. Let the Border Patrol do their job and stop handcuffing them.

#2, focus on the one's in the system who have felonies and deport them. Then find those who overstayed their visa and remove them.

The other remaining few million will be hard to deal with or even find. That will be much more difficult.

But again, I still don't believe Trump will actually do what he says about the wall and immigration.

It is impossible to maintain the moral high ground in a discussion once your response involves immorality.

There have been examples of aggressiveness and violence from trump supporters and trump protesters. Everyone needs to just chill.
