If true EU will now seek to be Superstate
This article seems really far out there but if accurate is pretty amazing. In a climate where Europeans are already showing resentment against decisions made in Brussels affecting their lives greatly and superceding their own countries governments, word here is that the EU will announce taking the step to be a "Superstate" and require member countries to give up their armies, central banks, etc. I am thinking this must just be wild speculation because while I do believe this is their endgame I don't think they are stupid enough to push it right after Great Britain has voted to exit the EU and other countries have large elements of their population also not happy with the EU's increasing power.

Re: If true EU will now seek to be Superstate
They are already talking about having an EU 'army'. The whole purpose of the EU was to create, over time, a 'superstate', a 'united Europe'. It's been tried repeatedly since Rome fell, and it will continue to be tried until the 'end'.
The NAU (North American Union) is slowly moving in that direction as well. Once the Regional 'superstates' have been forged, they will then be merged into one UNity. The 'Powers That Be' who actually manage nations, international corporations, investment banking, etc, have been for a long, long time working to unify the planet under one central authority. This of course requires the end of the nation-state as an independent, sovereign entity. And that of course requires a redistribution of population groups and a re-education of the citizenry, to foster the death of 'nation-consciousness' and the growth of 'global-consciousness'. 'We are the world... we are the children...' etc. So, yeah, nothing far-fetched about it at all. It's what your grandpa knew as 'international socialism' aka COMMUNISM. |

Re: If true EU will now seek to be Superstate
Is it not interesting that Belgium played the part of the victim in both world wars because in both wars Germany violated Belgium's borders to get at France? Yet Belgium now is the seat of power of one of the most demonic entities on the planet.

Re: If true EU will now seek to be Superstate
Look at the lies put out by this propaganda rag: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...merican-union/
"Despite this, Americans expressing their viewpoint on the "Brexit" vote (such as, say, President Obama) have often been shouted down by those in Britain. The argument, as these Britons put it, comes down to hypocrisy: The United States would never give up its sovereignty and join a "North American Union," so it shouldn't lecture Britain on the E.U. ... Daniel Kelemen, a professor of political science and Jean Monnet Chair in E.U. politics at Rutgers University, suggests that this is not a useful comparison as there is no supranational political union for the United States to join. "That's just a counterfactual that stretches the imagination too far," he said. But presumably that's the whole point? While the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which came into force in 1994, ties Canada, Mexico and the United States together in a trilateral trade bloc, there has been no significant attempt to build upon it with a North American Union that could theoretically be compared to the E.U. In fact, many Americans view the idea of North American political integration with a deep distrust that can verge on the conspiratorial. Relatively mainstream commentators like Lou Dobbs have suggested that trilateral meetings between the countries were a sign that America's borders were about to be destroyed, threatening to "end the United States as we know it." More extreme versions of these theories have included suggestions that a. a new transnational currency was soon to be implemented (the "amero"), b. that NAFTA will eventually create a "superhighway" between the three nations designed to abolish national borders, or c. that a North American court system would soon be implemented that would overrule domestic courts in all three countries. These rumors are false or extremely exaggerated, but they continue to linger. " Did you catch that? The Washington Post claims that the idea of a NAFTA Superhighway is a false rumour. I guess they didn't count on the fact that I and about a million other people living in Houston several years ago would see the giant billboards advertising proposed Interstate 69 (then known as US Highway 59 north, the Eastex Freeway) as the 'Trans Texas Corridor', which would be part of Texas' arm of the proposed 'NAFTA Superhighway'? I mean, these clowns just lie straight to your face, without flinching. So there's no such thing as North American Union being proposed, right? Hmmm... https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press...america-buildi "Our governments are committed to developing a North American Competitiveness work plan, focused on investment, innovation and increased private sector engagement. We seek to set new standards for global trade through the prompt conclusion of a high standard, ambitious, and comprehensive Trans-Pacific Partnership, as we promote further trade liberalization in the Asia-Pacific region. We will develop a North American Transportation Plan, beginning with a regional freight plan and building on existing initiatives. We will also streamline procedures and harmonize customs data requirements for traders and visitors. We will facilitate the movement of people through the establishment in 2014 of a North American Trusted Traveler Program, starting with the mutual recognition of the NEXUS, Global Entry, SENTRI and Viajero Confiable programs. Our governments will leverage the existing bilateral border mechanisms to enhance the secure movement of goods across North America, and promote trilateral exchanges on logistics corridors and regional development. Our governments will designate observers to attend meetings of the border management executive committees already in place. This approach will also be followed within the existing bilateral processes on regulatory cooperation. We will continue to protect and enforce intellectual property rights." Yeah, nothing to see here, folks, move along, the boob tube is calling... |

http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-...gration-scheme
"A secret U.S. embassy cable from 2005 released on April 28 by the anti-secrecy group Wiki-Leaks confirms what The New American magazine and others have been reporting for years: North American governments are indeed plotting to “integrate” the continent. And not even including implementing the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), they’ve been working on it for at least six years, probably more. So far, however, the bombshell has barely attracted any attention in the United States, Canada, or Mexico beyond a few mentions in some liberty-minded Internet forums and a TNA online article posted on May 2. But among patriots who have been opposing the integration efforts only to be dismissed as “conspiracy theorists,” the leaked cable provides more concrete proof that the plan is real, dangerous, and more than a recent or transient phenomenon. The official document, signed by then-American Ambassador to Canada Paul Cellucci, outlines the best ways to peddle the scheme to policymakers and the public. Most alarming to critics, it also discusses ways of getting around national constitutions and even the possibility of an eventual “monetary union.” Numerous other topics are broached in the leaked document, too: borders, labor, regulations, and more. But how to push the integration agenda is featured particularly prominently." |
