Where Are You Standing?

Scenario #1

It is moonless out and you're between a desert and a forest ; it's so cloudy
that one cannot even see the stars and it's pitch black. You have no way to
light a fire, so you just grope around in the darkness, trying to find a familiar
place: but for all you know, you may only be walking around in circles.
Imagine that the darkness will last for a week of years. You cry out, and
other voices answer you: but you cannot be sure they belong to honest
people, or criminals. How long do you think you might survive?

Scenario #2

It is a night lasting a week of years, and you have a full moon for a light.
You also have enough wood to keep a small fire burning to keep warm. But
you must still scrounge around for more wood, and food. You find comfort in
some companionship, and as long as you have the moonlight you might be
able to survive the night lasting a week of years.

Scenario #3

The sun has risen, and each hour seems to take about 1,000 years! There
are fruit trees all around, and an abundance of vegetables and every edible
thing you can think of. There is also an abundance of water, and the
temperature is ideal. You find people that are ideal companions, and you find
the fellowship refreshing.

Scenario #1

This person is in sin, but does not know the measure nor the depth of his
deception!

Scenario #2

This person is under the Law of Mercy. He has some light and can survive
for a time, but Mercy is only temporary before judgment overtakes him. He
must learn how to use mercy to seek and receive Grace.

Scenario #3

These people have found eternal life through the Gospel that saves. The
Gospel can be found in Mk. 16:16; Acts 2:38-39; and I Cor. 15:1-4.

Beloved, "...make your calling and election sure..."

Re: Where Are You Standing?

Good stuff, Brother.

Thank you for serving the Lord and us, by writing what you have written.

It was a blessing to me.

Peace,

Aaron
