Most of you know I work with street children...children from the ghettos....


Sunday night 3 little boys hugged me and were talking to me...They said, Grandma...our dream is to have a remote little car to play with...I looked at them....barefooted...one with no shirt...who knows when they had taken a shower...yet their little eyes were shinning as they told me their dreams...

A little remote car...I remember buying one on sale at the dollar store for one of my grandkids for ten dollars or so on sale....of course they are quite expensive here...

I thought of all the toys kids have in the states and here were 3 little boys telling me their dream....

Oh, my friends...your country is so blessed...never forget to be thankful...as we were talking one said, grandma, did you make soup because someone said you fell and hurt yourself...I said yes we will have soup...they looked at me and said, we are so hungry...

Some of you may know we raised lots of kids in our home///here is a picture of Michael and Rebecca. We have had them since they were 5 days old...They are 35 years old now! Both of them live here in the northeast. Michael and his wife pastor our headquarters church in this area.

You never know when you love these precious children what they may become...yes some never make it but there are others....and they make something in life....
