Greeneville, TN Non legalistic Apostolics

We moved to Greeneville, TN in spring of 2015 from Ohio. We would really like to meet some non-legalistic Apostolics to study the Word together and become friends with. If you go to a UPC church and want to try to "convert" me back to UPC, please do not contact me. But if you want to worship, study, and break bread with us in a non-judgmental setting, please contact me at weloveour3sons@yahoo.com. No hate mail, please.

Holy Ghost filled, baptized in Jesus name, oneness believers! I'm also a worshiper (keyboardist, singer, songwriter) who'd be thrilled to make some music with other like-minded believers. I am a contemporary musician who likes to throw some hymns and old-time songs in every now and then.

I pray that someone in this area who wants to just love Jesus together in the fullness of His grace will contact us. God bless you!!!

Clint and Becky

I know of some house churchers in Texas who, last I knew, regularly went to Greenville for campmeeting with some Church of Jesus Christ folks up in Greenville. One year those Tennesseans came down to Texas for campmeeting and we all had a wonderful time.

I'll see what I can dig up and send you an email.

Beautiful country on that side of the state. This is a generalization but given the long history of oneness and UPC in TN I'd think there would be some like minded folks around. At one time TN was considered on par with Idaho in being the two most liberal districts. That has been some time ago and although I live in W. TN don't have any involvement anymore. Best of everything and enjoy your new home!

There are some Black Apostolic churches that are not legalistic in anything other than the Acts 2:38 message. Have you tried visiting some of their services?

It means that they view their faulty interpretation of that scripture through the lens of legalism-- if a person isn't baptized in Jesus Name then they are not saved.

I see...

I think your are mistaking literalism for legalism.

Where in Kingsport? What is the name of the church? A friend of mine lives there or nearby

Thank You but I used the right word although literalism could work for another sentence.
