Overcoming witchcraft?

Question: How do you overcome witchcraft attacks that bring fatigue and oppression on the mind? Also tightness in the neck, almost like a choking. Also the loss of memory? How do we war against this spirit? And how long does it take before it breaks? An anyone dealt with this type of warfare? :foottap:girlfriend

I've heard of casting out demons, never experienced it. Call in a prayer group full of the Holy Ghost and Power. Do you have any such members near you, I have heard if it is not serious prayer and intercession, it can turn on a person. everyone needs to be sincere in this meeting, In one mind and one accord.

Prayer and fasting. Find someone who can join you in prayer.

It reminds me of a dream I had when I was a teen. I had been praying and fasting and one night I had a dream in which I was in a group of people. Suddenly I felt something demonic and across from me in the crowd was a witch. I couldn't see her face, only that she was dressed in black robes, her head was down and I could hear her muttering some kind of gibberish. All of the sudden her head snapped up and she reached her arms towards me and screamed something. In my dream I felt something close around my neck and I couldn't breath.

I startled awake and still felt the same force around my neck, choking me. I tried calling out and no words came out. I just began to mouth the words "Jesus!" About the second or third time I mouthed His Name, it left and I was left gasping for breath.

Only happened the one time. I've never experienced anything like it, thank God.

I would want to be under spiritual authority and not living in sin or rebellion, and then prayer and fasting for deliverance would be effective.

Renew your mind through spiritual transformation by not being conformed to this world by proving what is the good, acceptable perfect will of God by offering yourself as a living sacrifice.

I am amazed that anyone in Pentecost still believes this is caused by a spirit. Most "Modern" pentecostals will tell you to take your pain killer and maybe some "herbs".

I agree with you that this is caused by spirit and most likely by a spirit cluster. Remember that when dealing with demonic spirits they rarely are alone. (Remember Legion) Demon spirits are like bananas, they are yellow and run in bunches.

Anytime you see witchcraft you will also see a spirit of perversion, ie fornication, adultery, porn, something along those lines. Not saying that a person is doing those things but saying that those two spirits are a part of the cluster. When a person is oppressed by a spirit of witchcraft they will also feel an attack against the mind of the other spirit as well.

The choking and other symptoms are linked in with the "fear" that so accompanies that cluster.

When dealing with any spirit and dealing with those clusters the first step is personal devotion. Second is revelation and identification. Third is faith.
