Planet X and the tie in with Rev 12
 

So this is something that has came to my attention. Long story short, it seems there may be a planet on the edge of our solar system that will come very close to Earth wrecking all kinds of havok.

No, Im not a conspiracy guy but my friend has shown me screen shots where it looks like areas of sky observed by NASA has been intentially blacked out.

There is also a tie in with Rev. 12 with mention of a woman who is pregnant and a great red dragon waiting to consume the child...well the constellation in question is Virgo and there are some interesting things happening in that part of the sky with a red looking object.

Anyways, this isnt my wheelhouse and I usually dont go for these kind of things but this has grabbed my attention.

Most articles I've seen pushing this contain either factual errors regarding the astronomy, or egregious errors concerning eschatology. Either one puts this right up there with the endless Watchtower predictions, Harold Camping, 88 Reasons, etc.

Most of these people have been making predictions repeatedly for the past 5-10 years, and ALWAYS FAIL. If a guy has a 99% fail rate, he's not somebody to listen to on eschatology. Or "signs" or "omens".

This is, in fact, nothing but astrology, with a Christian veneer. Its no different than what the heathen do, ooh a comet, must be a portent of muh omens of do0m.

No man will absolutely know when Jesus is coming back. And the events that transpire prior to His coming (of whatever nature they might be) will only be understood by those who know His voice.

The story of the woman and the dragon is symbolic.

When we read of the birth of the Christ we only see the stories in Matthew and Luke who record the story of the incarnation in a total physical setting. ie the manger, the animals, and etc. What we see from those two Gospels is the physical picture of the birth of the Messiah.

But the Gospel of John does not record the story instead he starts out with Spirit.

But John does tell the story in Rev 12 but he tells the story from a spiritual view as opposed to Matts and Lukes physical.

Rev 12 is the story of what the birth of Christ looked like in the spiritual realm.

Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

This is Israel.

Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

The promised Messiah....

Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
Rev 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

This is satan, the demonic world, and them working through the political systems of the day to destroy the Messiah. We see this played out in the physical in Matthew and Luke.

Mat 2:16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.
Mat 2:17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying,
Mat 2:18 In Ramah was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.


This is Jesus, fulfilling Isaiah.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

We understand that Matthew wrote to the Jews, Mark wrote to the Romans, Luke wrote to the Greeks, but John wrote to the Church. John's writings are moreso spiritual in aim, this includes Revelation.
