Praise God! I know DDB was concerned his Makita would never live again.

He should have called that immersion a baptism. :heeheehee

He sure was thankful for your prayer!!

Yep, my Brother Will prayed for it.

It happened early this morning while up on a ladder. The gun fell from my clip and bounced into the pool. Went down 6 feet of water. Couldn't find the pool net, so I used a broom. Must of hit the trigger dragging to the shallow part. Reached down pulled it out. Yanked the battery out, and called Makita. They said sorry to hear what happened, but the gun is most likely dead. Was speaking with Brother Burk around 12 o'clock and had a battery back in the gun. Tried to run the gun while talking with Brother Burk the gun was dead. At the end of work was speaking with Brother Will on the way home, and told him. He said brother, let's pray. We prayed, and Brother Will said Lord make the Makita work. After we had prayed, and chatted for a while I reached over to the gun, and pulled the trigger. It started!!!! It runs like a champion. Thank you Jesus! Praise God for prayer.

I don’t think I’ve ever really made a prayer request on AFF...and I know this thread is a little “different”, but I would like to give a personal request to a few of my pals on here: My dad was diagnosed w Alzheimer’s quite a while back. He’s getting much worse now, my mom is under a great deal of pressure w it. We (my siblings and I) are trying to work together w her. I’m not wanting to hijack this thread, at all, but wanted to slip in a mention of it to a few friends I saw on this thread, in hopes of mentioning it during your prayers.
I mean, if a Mikita power tool can be brought back to working properly...how much the more... :)
I sincerely thank you, brothers.

Shag, you aint hijacking nothin bro. This is our primary purpose and calling which is Believe, Obey and Declare. Alzheimer's is a horrible disease and in Jesus mighty name I command life and healing into your father. I curse that disease in Jesus name and and command it to die and take its hands off your father. I revoke its ability to wreck havok on his health in Jesus name and speak strength into him. I command sound mind and thoughts and that any damage done will be reversed.

So be it.
