So Elijah, Jeremiah, and Isaiah are bad examples. All I can say is the gifts work in our church, tongues and interpretations and prophecy and all that, but we have no one in the office of prophet. There is different people God uses to bring forth prophecy. I could see someone like TW Barnes was a elder and prophet for one generation. But I can't see any place in the word that says this is how it will be for every generation. |

I thought Branham was the prophet for this generation? Or was that R. G. Stair? Wait, wasn't that supposed to be Sowders?
Hold on, I think Charles T Russel was claiming that first? In fact, I think David Koresh was thinking along the same lines. Then there's Ellen White. So, unless Mr Marks starts his own personal movement, replete with 'Illuminati Confirmed" symbolism, and a unique quirky doctrine, he'll have to take a number. |
