Best way to remove truck battery?

Need to take out the two batteries from my truck. Problem is, both positive cables are rusted tight. The bolt/nut on each will not loosen. I think I rounded one of them. (!)

I really really don't want to cut the cables and get new clamps, I've done before on other vehicles and always had problems afterwards. Any ideas?

I don't think I can get a hacksaw in there without tearing up the clamp.

I'm really hoping I don't have to replace the cable ends. Those cruddy clamp sets at AutoZone always seem to have issues after being installed...

Go to NAPA (if you still have one near you) for the closet thing to OEM.

Allow the white vinegar and baking soda to work. Also do not use to a 8 sided socket or 12 sided. Use a four sided should be 8 or 10 mm. Could be even 12 mm. But no 4 sided socket use a box end wrench.

WD 40 is flammable.

Coke takes a while.

It worked! If God's chariot needs work you'll be the one who gets it taken care of. :)
