Moving To NC

hen God stops the ravens and dries up the brook, start looking for Zarapath.

Things were getting rough...REAL rough.

In the beginning I was making great money,then number of passengers had dropped and the number of drivers had increased so there were nights that I just made enough to cover gas.

I would stay out until the other drivers went home and that worked and paid off until June hit and even staying late wasn't worth it.

Long story short, made decision to move that would put us in much better position.

Worked from 10am to 3:30am yesterday and in that time I met a interesting passenger.

I not only made $130 from this guy in 30 minutes but after hearing about and commenting on the business he owned and telling him I was relocating to NC and also filling him in on relevent related previous job experience, I get a job offer and told to contact him when I get there.

Ah, my freinds in the area tell me there is a great church there, nearer Rock Hill perhaps.

Please be careful and consider something:

Just because an opportunity presents itself when one is most desired, does not mean that desiring the opportunity that presented itself is the correct thing to do. Many have moved cross country for job situations that have turned out badly, because of not having enough information to know ahead of time if the move was the right.

Do some independent research on the company, get on linkedin.com, or try to find out more than simply a conversation with a guy you just met.

Exactly.... Already cleared to drive for Lyft there so even if it falls through with that other job I have plenty to fall back on...we will be rent free for a while as well.

I understand its none of my business but I sure hope your not leaving an awesome church for a question mark.

Providing for his family is more important than attending an “awesome” church.
