Other Apostolic Message Boards
Just curious, are there any other active Apostolic online forums. This forum doesn't have near the activity it did several years ago. Just wondering if there are any other options for reading online discussions between Oneness Pentecostals.

Now they just tweet, instagram, or facebook. This older medium is archaic to them.

Anyway, most oneness people apparently aren't into discussion, they'd rather do selfies and sound bites on farcebook. :heeheehee |

Re: Other Apostolic Message Boards
I've often thought about this myself. AFF is a good little community that's generally filled with thoughtful insight, but in viewing the older threads, it seems that it's dying a slow death. The forum itself is, let's face it, quite plain and old-fashioned looking, but that probably hasn't anything to do with the fact that the population here has dwindled.
Like the other responder said, most Apostolic people have drifted towards social media outlets, where debates clutter the pages instead of genuine discussion. Forums like AFF are rare. I haven't found any other Apostolic-friendly website out there that operates successfully and with a steady membership. Christian Forums, a site that opens its doors to a multitude of "faiths" (many of which aren't Christian in origin), is often quite critical of people that are Oneness, baptism in the name of Jesus, or have any significant stance on holiness and worldliness separation. That's one of the reasons I left it. I was banned for not being Trinitarian. That's why I came here. AFF should be updated, and then maybe some of the oldies would fall back in here? It's a thought.... |
Re: Other Apostolic Message Boards
In my experience "update" is not always good. About the time I start getting used to something along comes an update and confuses me! I love the way the forum operates and its layout.
I am on Facebook and the layout of it as far as the kind of discussions we have here IMO is no good. |
