Her family and friends eventually emerged unscathed, if a little stir-crazy, from the tedium of having schools closed, mandates that masks be worn outside at all times and restrictions on group events. |

I found it interesting that in 1918 the city of Seattle was put on lockdown with everything closed. 100 years ago almost to the year. And because of the 3-week lockdown, their death rate was far lower than other places in the world.
