“Homosexuals have a right to be a part of the family. They’re children of God and have a right to a family. Nobody should be thrown out, or be made miserable because of it,” Pope Francis said in a new documentary film, “Francesco,” which premiered at the Rome Film Festival on Wednesday, according to the Catholic News Agency and other outlets. |

As my Sedevacantist relatives would say, "why is everyone so surprised?"

This is really probably a good thing for some.

Catholicism has long been a perversion of Christianity, just like Mormonism. This comes as no great surprise to me.

Re: Pope Francis Backs Civil Unions for Gay Couple
We won’t only have opposition from the world for standing for what is right regarding this topic but more and more from also religious groups supposedly believers of the Book. Those groups will definitely fuel the world’s oppression on those that stand against it.
How many supposedly “right wing” Catholics we have in the Supreme Court again? |
Re: Pope Francis Backs Civil Unions for Gay Couple
Looks like Sedevacantist movement will get bigger.

I've heard of a growing number of Roman Catholics migrating over to Eastern Orthodox, only to be disappointed in how pozzed the EO actually are in most western countries, except for old school Orthodox churches who will usually do the liturgy in Greek or some other ethnic native tongue. Which interestingly tends to keep the local parish insulated from external "Americanizing" pressures to a certain extent.
Although the EO HQs over in Europe tend to be almost as liberalised as Rome is now... |
