True. Without repentance sin is not forgiven. No repentance, no restoration.

And repentance is more than just feeling bad and weeping about how bad it is. It includes actually correcting the bad behaviour.

A thief who cries at the altar, but still shoplifts, has not repented.

What is the United States dying of? Plain stupidity, like using a circular saw without a guard. You know you shouldn’t do it, but you do it anyway. Sooner or later the inevitable happens. You receive a life changing injury. Was there any God fearing Christians in 14th century Europe? When the Babylonians attacked Jerusalem were there anyone there who feared God? Do you believe the United States is eternal and can never fall? 476 A.D. Europe, were there any God fearing Christians leading up to that date?

We have a hard enough time getting "our" people to repent.

We are consumed with entertainment.

Because apparently with some in the church realm, America is the only nation founded on biblical principles. So, seeing the way America has become it really only has 2 options, repent or die.

Even though concerning Sodom and Gomorrah, the Lord would’ve spared the city for 10 souls. Maybe some of us need a relationship like Abraham had.

Or....

It’s Gods intention to judge this nation, and will raise another nation. Either way, the church will be shadowed by the wings of the almighty.

This is where I was born.
