Problem With Left Eye
 

I have an appointment tomorrow to see an Ophthalmologist. Having a problem with my left eye. It seems there is, for lack of better description, a veil of some sort that is moving from the corner of my eye and causing some vision loss. They will check tomorrow for a possible detached retina they said. Not sure what all that entails, but it makes me nervous.

Have any of your or do you know of anyone that has had, something like that? I hate to google stuff, that scares a person even more LOL!!

Well, I did have a detached retina. He said it just happens sometimes, especially if you are diabetic (which I am not), you're really nearsighted (which I am) and also age (got that too lol) always has a factor in it.

The doctor I saw (and really liked) said surgery was a must and he said he could do it that day. It was relatively pain free, thankfully. He placed an air bubble inside the eye to hold the retina in place. He said it would take a couple weeks for it to dissipate and the blurriness to start going away.
