Israel is an abomination
Time and again in the Old Testament, God sent heathen barbarian nations to punish Israel. Time and again the God-sent prophets were ignored or threatened by backslid, apostate Israeli leaders. Sudden calamity would come upon the Jewish nation that was committing all manner of abominations, including offering their own children to pagan idols. As I watched the horrifying video of the Hamas paratroopers swooping in upon the unsuspecting festival attendees, I could not help but think about the ancestors of these people also being caught off guard and led away captive. Did you see it? On video we wittnessed modern Israelis being led away captive in the same horrifying way their anscestors were! Some of those party-goers were flagrantly flaunting sin in the face of God. Like America, Israel has become sympathetic to the gay agenda with rainbow flags being seen everywhere in the holy land. When God brought in foreign armies in the Old Testament to lead his people into captivity, innocent women and children died by the thousands. I know this will not set well with some, but why aren't we reminding the Jews of Israel of the holiness of God and the harsh ways in which God punished their ancestors? Why are we not urging them to repent? Why are we not boldly proclaiming to them that Jesus is their Messiah and continued rebellion against him will bring destruction to their nation?

Re: Israel is an abomination
You are confused. Those people are not Biblical Israel, they are a mix of Turkish/Khazar and Arabic ancestry, with a subset of Edomites essentially running their show. More importantly, they are the synagogue of satan according to Jesus and are of the devil. According to John they are in fact the Biblical antichrist. That is because they are Pharisees (literally) whose religion is based on the rejection of Jesus.
Israel, meanwhile, officially embraced the headship of Jesus Christ the Son of God and have spread the Gospel of His kingdom just about everywhere. Why is the West in such dire straights today? Read Deuteronomy 28 for the answer. |
Re: Israel is an abomination
I completely agree. But since the Evangelical world IS ascribing to them all the attributes of "Jewishness," then why not do all I said in my original post?

I really want to discuss this topic. “All eyes are on Israel, Gods Chosen People” is the topic of MANY pulpits this week. Ps. 122:6-9 “They shall prosper that love thee” |

Was John speaking specifically of the Jews in particular, those that did not become Jewish Christians converts, as being antichrist? |
Re: Israel is an abomination
Can you still be God‘s chosen people while rejecting His Messiah?
Isn’t that basically where the primary argument is at, when the dust settles |

My understanding is that when Israel was the people of God, the other nations where judged in part for their own iniquity but a lot because of how they treated the people of God. Lots of that in the prophets. Now, the nations are also judged and will be judged for their own iniquity in general but a lot by how they treat the scattered people of God (the true church) as well. That idea can also be seen in some of Jesus’s teaching. |

Right? God would of spared Sodom if there would of been found some righteousness within it? So, now Jesus has died been buried, and resurrected to gain salvation to those who would accept Him. As Brother Esaias has stated in another thread. All this other stuff isn't our problem. Preaching and teaching and leading people into the Kingdom is our focus. :thumbsup |
