Animals In The Garden

This isn’t going to be a long thread, just a quick question.

Has anyone studied if there were animals in the garden of Eden? Just a thought that came to mind in my studying the other day.

Bro, if Adam gave names to all the animals you think maybe they were in his location?

I understand that.

What I’m talking about is we’re the animals in the garden as a place to reside? Adam and Eve were the only ones created in the garden or at least Eve was the Bible says Adam was placed in the garden. The animals were an outside source that God brought to Adam to name. When God told Adam to dress and keep the garden, I imagine that would be to keep the animals out.

Brother, you will just have to list this pondering with “did Adam and Eve have belly buttons.”

Whether or not if they had belly buttons, or if Adam had to shovel horse manure. Is really non issues and have nothing to do with Bible doctrines.

I’m not saying one cannot ponder these thoughts. But, wouldn’t recommend making these items topics of church family discussion.

Was told that the animals talked to Adam and Eve, they were all friends.

This is “why” Eve wasn’t surprised by the talking serpent. :lol

According to my understanding, a "garden" was more like what today we call a "zoo". Not meemaw's zucchini patch.

Nic, are you asking whether or not animals were native to Eden prior to God's creation of Adam and Eve? That is, Eden was the nature, original habitat for at least some animals?

Another question: what brought you to this question? I'm curious to know.
