POA Use Idol Worship at Campmeeting?

According to Rev. Strange, after he attending the La. Campmeeting Service on Wednesday nite, he sensed the sounds of idol worship and chanting during the service. This nite, the worship was lead by MM and the worship team from the POA.

Here is Rev. Strange remarks concerning the worship from this nite.

"Moses coming down the mountain heard strange music. He heard a strange sound. He knew something was wrong from the sound. Someone could have said, "Oh never mind, Moses, these young people have come up with their own sound. They ware worshipping the Lord in their own way and music."

Moses would have known better. He was right. The music was the sound of worship of an idol made of gold. Such sounds will always be different than that of divine consecreation music. The sound of the uncircucised should not be hard to recognize for those that have their ears and eyes turned toward heaven.

I am hearing the worship of an idol. While we have stood stoutly with our standards at the front door of the church, the enemy has slipped in through the back door and has erected an idol in our very midst, under our noses and we did not see it coming. "

The songs that were sung that nite were "There is No God Like Our God", "How Great Is Our God", "How Great Thou Art", "When I Speak Your Name" and "To Worship You I Live".

According to Rev. Strange, this was the music that caused the "Idol Worship" and "weird chanting".

You possibly need to use caution when using these songs in your worship service!! :tiphat

I make a fourth. But this is what happens when one sees only in the natural, and refuses to seek the Lord for spiritual discernment. They attack the man who the Lord has used. So sad and truly pathetic to say the least.

Psa 33:3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
Psa 40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, [even] praise unto our God: many shall see [it], and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
Psa 96:1 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.
Psa 98:1 [[A Psalm.]] O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
Psa 144:9 I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery [and] an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
Psa 149:1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, [and] his praise in the congregation of saints.
Isa 42:10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, [and] his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Rev 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
