I didn't realize your annivsary was on my birthday. My birthday came first. ;)

We thank each and everyone for their kind words, congratulations,

best wishes, etc. on our 48th Anniversary. We are so blessed to have

a wonderful family of children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, many

friends and loved ones, many on this forum.

It is almost like a dream that we have arrived at 48 yrs. How did we do

it! One day at a time, one year at a time. Looking unto Jesus, the Author

and The Finisher of our faith. We have always had a great love for each

other ever since we met at a revival in 1958. I had received the Holy Ghost

a few months prior and he received it in the revival where we met. I have

never in these 48 yrs. felt I made a mistake in marrying him. Does that mean

we have not had our struggles like anyone else. NO, but when you have God

and you have a desire (everything starts with a desire) to do His Will and to

please Him, you can make it. At times your vision may grow dim and you

would possible lose your way momentarily, He will pick you up and carry you

when you cannot stand on your on. We have been together through a lot

of trials and struggles, but we still have our GOD and we have each other,

and we have many supporters, our family, friends and loved ones.

Thank GOD from whom ALL blessings flow!!

OH MY! MY!

God never created a finer couple than this. I only met them once, though I know other members of the family.

But, I soon come to learn that there are none better than this fine example of enduring love for each other and that of the Lord and His Work.

The few short hours that I spend with them recently made to know that God knew what he was doing when he designed marriage and love. These two exmplify God's finest.

Happy anniversary you two. You were beautiful in your wedding picture. You are more beautiful today.
