Apostolic Creativity?

This question has been posted on Ninetyandnine.net for quite some time now and since I have no idea how often it is updated I am curious as to what others here think.

Does the Apostolic Culture encourage or discourage individual creativity in the arts (painting, photography, video, writing, etc.)? Why?

From what I have seen this really depends far more on the church itself than the organization(s) in question.

I think the more conservative an individual church is the more repressed creativity will be..... Examples would include music where anything outside of a guitar, piano, organ, and tambourine, is considered radical, and whoa to them who play in any key outside of minor!
Obviously a career in video editing, directing, acting, screenplay writing is straight out as well.....
BUT, I see this being the case for a very small % of churches.

Some Pastors discourage them and some don't.

You have not been in a conservative church lately it appears. Video editing, directing, acting, etc you mention would surely be not thought as wholesome in the same.

My church is moderate to conservative. All of those things are just fine along with professional sports.
