*News Flash* DA is traded to the UC camp for future draft picks

In a surprise announcement the general manager of the AFF Liberals, J-Roc, announced that Daniel Alicea has been traded to the Apostolic Ultra Cons for future draft pick considerations and monetary compensation.

UC Coach Elder Epley appeared elated at the recent pickup. He jubilantly told a filled press room of reporters, "We have picked up their best stud poster. We've been teetering on oblivion especially with the no-show performances of Coonskinner, RRFord, Whole Hearted, and Evangelist Benincasa. We tried to throw out Willy Price, IAM and Polaris every third day ... but I've got to admit they've been lackluster to say the least. Pastor Poster, a part-time hired gun, turned in his keyboard. Deseret, Rico, Steadfast and St. Matt are unreliable in the clutch. And of course ... everyone knows Old Paths and BOOM aren't the posters they used to be.

We've stunk ... It's been an uphill battle putting out a quality lineup but this really gives us the shot in the arm we needed. With DA on board, we are about to turn things around. He's the Michael Jordan of verbal jousting ... I can't wait."

ESPN today called the trade for Daniel Alicea a potential bust. Sources quote ESPN's Dan Patrick, that DA has some emotional issues that he hasn't been able to overcome that just might indicate someone wasted someone's time. :D

....An unnamed source has implicated DA along with several other posters in a huge forum steroid scandal! It appears DA's post count has been tainted with performance enhancing substances. Many veteran posters have suspected for years that DA's 7,000+ post count was "dirty" and should not be considered as legit. Congressional committees met today to consider issuing subpoenas and laying the groundwork for potential hearings.

DA, the Barry Bonds of forum land, is denying all allegations, in spite of his obviously overenlarged head and other signs of steroid use.
