IF RESOLUTION 4 FAILS: Will some join the PAW, NCO or create their own org?

IF RESOLUTION 4 FAILS [formerly known as Resolution 6]: Will some join the PAW, NCO or create their own org?

Both the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and New Church Order are still predominantly Water and Spirit ... but liberal to moderate on social issues such as holiness standards, tv, etc ....

If the Resolution fails will there be a mass exodus to these fellowships.

Why or why not?

Will there be a call to create a new "pro-tv" org? Who do you think would be the leaders?

No, there will be a slow trickle of folks who leave, just as there is now.

Yet some have called for an org that is socially progressive but doctrinally sound ... I submit there are options already ....

I see a things happeing more rapidly if it passes and then depends on one's local surroundings. The Oregon district estimated an immediate loss of around 13 churches last time around if it had passed.

Barring an unforseen uprising, this resolution has no chance of passing.

Does anyone know if the results are in from the independent commission??

Nahum 07-19-2007 01:21 PM

Hmmm.

Now that is mean. There are between 40 and 50. A lot quite small, however.

I thought NCO wasn't an organization . . . at least that's what I read when it was first created.
