National ID cards required by May 2008
Have we discussed this??

what I've heard now is they are considering the chip, implanted under the skin to eliminate the need to re-issue cards every year. Bro Baxter, regardess of what you think of him, mentions this in his DVD called "666" Here is a link (I hope it works) to the article written in endtime magazine about this issue.... http://www.endtime.com/pdf%5Carchive...5-Complete.pdf any other views on this bill? anyone see it differently? I also heard someone say that we should all sign up for this "no id" petition. I was like "why?" its going to happen in God's time anyway, why try to put off the coming of the Lord - I say come quickly Lord Jesus :) What's to stay here for? |
and another FYI - my bank has already posted a notice that says next year you'll be required to have an ID mandated by homeland security, to open a checking account....

I think they're going to have extreme difficulty implementing it and it probably won't go through. Colorado passed state laws making it more difficult to get a driver's license, lots of legal people are having trouble getting a new one, and I think it's being taken to court because of all the problems.

you know, I've always thought that the US would be the biggest hinderance to the "one world government" and such that you hear in prophecy.....
The US citizens are too vocal about their "rights". I've never thought the US would be one of the major world powers that unite in the end..... I think someone is going to push a button somewhere and wipe the US of the map, literally. Perhaps this will be when the Lord comes, to account for the missing folks. I dont know, I'm no scholar... I just think its getting close....and I'm glad |

A technology has not been decided on yet. However the ID cards must be machine readable. The "chip" is not a shoe in, but the smart card industry is lobbying hard for it. Someone has to pay the cost of the ID card and the chip is much more expensive then a mag-stripe or bar code. Although it'll be us that ends up paying for it the states don't want it coming out of their budgets and likewise the feds. I don't know if we'll see this happen in less then a year from now if they haven't even agreed upon a card technology or who's going to pay for it. Not only is getting the cards out there an incredible task, but to get all the readers in place is overwhelming. If they go with a mag-stripe or bar code you don't have to worry about that being implanted into your skin. |
