A poll for those who celebrate Christmas

This is a poll I'm starting to find out if I'm just ignorant or if some of you are just as ignorant as I am.

I've been accused of denying the oneness of God because in saying that I celebrate the birth of Christ but not the birth of God (because God cannot be born), then I'm separating God and Jesus, therefore denying Jesus is God.....

See, someone told me that celebrating God's birthday is contrary to oneness teaching. When I claiming that I didn't celebrate God's birthday, but Jesus' birthday, I was separating the two to make two gods, and denying oneness in the process.

So, I'm starting a poll for those who do celebrate as to what they believe......and to see exactly how many others 'deny oneness' as well.

I'm not here to debate Christmas, so if this thread goes that way, have at it without me.

This is a private poll.

I love Christmas.

Read the thread title again.

Rico doesn't celebrate, therefore, this thread isn't for him. :D

God revealed as the Son has a birthday. Can that be said?

Mercy 07-25-2007 11:35 AM

That is what I would say too.

Is there some hidden meaning in the phrase 'Jesus is God'?

"Jesus is God" isn't saying the same thing?

Let's pretend that when I say 'Jesus', I'm referring to the Son of God. ;)
