Kill your TV Website

I found this really good, informative site awhile ago and thought that I would share it with everyone.

http://www.turnoffyourtv.com/

It is full of good resources, related to the harmful effects of TV, what drives TV, etc. It should be mandatory reading. :)

Television is all geared towards entertainment and the Internet is information.

:lol :drama You must not watch television . . . the statement is blatantly or ignorantly incorrect.

There are many cable channels for news; several on history; a few religious channels with various programs, both informational and entertaining; home improvement channels; shopping channels, etc.

Not all tv is entertainment and certainly not all the internet is information.

It was a nice try though! However, when put under your famous "white-hot light of scrutiny" the statement is inaccurate and wrong.

My famous, it should be the same for yourself. My statement is accurate. Internet is information and television is entertainment including the News Media. For a group who is so in love with the television I can hardly find anyone who can tell me any programs worth the time watching. Animal Planet, Disney channel, History Channel? On Animal Planet, Disney Channel, and the History Channel do they have religious programming?

800 channels and all the television Pentecostals can present for programming is three channels? These people who bring up these three channels are honest people, because they know the rest of the programming on television is garbage. The Internet on the other hand has tons of great information. NOT the same for the TELEVISION. Sorry white-hot-light inspection has proven that pound for pound Television ends up with the Big Fat Brooklyn ZERO!

In Jesus name

I believe the website deals with the issue of the difference between internet and TV. Clearly there is a difference, that even secular people recognize.

Compromising Apostolic people that want TV fail to see it, because their carnality in wanting TV causes them to justify themselves with all excuses, reasoning possible. When a person wants to watch TV, they will create all kinds of stuff to explain why they want to go in that avenue.

Right. And I've got a couple of bridges I'd like to sell to you, too, Brother.
