I was just reading and this thought came to me. Is the Mother Harlot really the Roman Catholic Church? Could it be that the true Mother Harlot is the setting up of any carnal minded system in place of God's Spiritual system?

First point... how can one play the harlot if one has not been married to the one in which you have played the harlot?
