Kathleen Herles attends Bethel UPC in Long Island, NY. From my understanding she has attended Bethel since she was around 8 or 9 when her mom came in contact with Bethel at a shopping mall ( http://www.bethelupc.org/history.html ) at their annual christmas outreach program, where the choir visits the local malls and sings for the public.


It seems for the first time that the UPCI has chosen to showcase her at a large event - Youth Congress.

1- Why hasn't the organization featured Kathleen Herles in the Pentecostal Herald in the last 8 years?

2- Is it a coinkydinky that she is featured one month before General Conference?


3- Is she the new poster child for the fellowship?

Well, I have posted some questions on the 3rd page of that thread which may not be seen so I think it will be seen here...

Were the young people at Youth Congress given mixed messages or was this a calculated move by the leadership of the Youth Department weeks before the vote on the TV resolution?

This woman is not an Apostolic but a sinner.

She is baptized in Jesus name, filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost having spoken in tongues and is a member of the church of one of the most well-respected Bishops in the entire fellowship in Pastor Doug Davis....WH, what makes this young woman a sinner? And did TG (the youth president) err in allowing this young lady to grace the stage?

This is what 90 &9 said about the segment that she was in...

"Frontrunner was simply a focus on Apostolic Youth making a difference in unusual or creative ways by following God's calling on their lives."

So does that mean that TV is a creative way that she is following Gods calling? Hummm!!!

This woman is dressed completely immodest.

God will not dwell in an unclean temple.

I don't know WH ... she looks like she's the temple of the Holy Spirit at least in these Congress pics ... are you able to discern the present state of her heart?

J-Roc, I, like you ... can't figure out why the Pentecostal Herald never picked up this story years ago. I knew she was an OP ... for some time.

One has to question the timing of this ... it's cool and all that this young lady was able to share her faith ... but was she used as a political pawn?[/B]
