Please help me find specific scientific term?!?!?
 

Is there a term that describes the process of converting a raw, small-dosage poison into a productive, usable form (antidote, treatment, etc)....

I am looking for this term to use in the final two lessons of my teaching series....

I wasn't able to locate term via web searches....

distill? Clarify? Extract?

I need the term for this process....

In the chemical/biological weapons area they speak of "precursors" which are then "manufactured" into a weaponized form.

Sorry I don't know the term....
But I think of many essentials which, if consumed in large dosages are fatal... salt and some other minerals.
