*** At the Cross*** To the Lamb be all praise, honor ...
Jesus,
Tonight I worship You for your sacrifice ... I am forever indebted to You, the Lamb, for standing in my stead. Your dream to die snatched me from the nightmare of an eternal death. [yt="At The Cross"]WTJvGVOG524[/yt] At the Cross - Hillsong by Darlene Zschech, Reuben Morgan Oh Lord You’ve searched me You know my way Even when I fail You I know You love me Your holy presence Surrounding me In every season I know You love me I know You love me At the cross I bow my knee Where Your blood was shed for me There’s no greater love than this You have overcome the grave Your glory fills the highest place What can separate me now You go before me You shield my way Your hand upholds me I know You love me You tore the veil You made a way When You said that it is done And when the earth fades Falls from my eyes And You stand before me I know You love me I know You love me |
Isaiah 53
1 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? 2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. 3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. 8 By oppression [a] and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken. [b] 9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes [c] his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand. 11 After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life [d] and be satisfied [e] ; by his knowledge [f] my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, [g] and he will divide the spoils with the strong, [h] because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. |
THE OLD RUGGED CROSS
On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, The emblem of suffering and shame; And I love that old cross where the dearest and best For a world of lost sinners was slain. So I'll cherish the old rugged cross, Till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, And exchange it some day for a crown. O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world, Has a wondrous attraction for me; For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above To bear it to dark Calvary. So I'll cherish the old rugged cross, Till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, And exchange it some day for a crown. In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine, A wondrous beauty I see, For 'twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died, To pardon and sanctify me. So I'll cherish the old rugged cross, Till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, And exchange it some day for a crown. To the old rugged cross I will ever be true; Its shame and reproach gladly bear; Then He'll call me some day to my home far away, Where His glory forever I'll share. So I'll cherish the old rugged cross, Till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, And exchange it some day for a crown. |
7And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 9And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. 11And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; 12Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. 13And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. 14And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever. |

East To West - Casting Crowns Here I am Lord and I’m drowning In Your sea of forgetfulness The chains of yesterday surround me I yearn for peace and rest I don’t want to end up where You found me And it echoes in my mind Keeps me awake tonight I know You’ve cast my sin as far As the East is from the West And I stand before You now As though I’ve never sinned But today I feel like I’m just one mistake away From You leaving me this way Jesus, can You show me just how far the East is from the West? Cause I can’t bear to see the man I’ve been Rising up in me again In the arms of Your mercy I find rest You know just how far the East is from the West From one scarred hand to the other I start the day, the war begins Endless reminding of my sin And time and time again Your truth is drowned out by the storm I’m in Today I feel like I’m just one mistake away From You leaving me this way Jesus, can You show me just how far the East is from the West? Cause I can’t bear to see the man I’ve been Come rising up in me again In the arms of Your mercy I find rest Cause You know just how far the East is from the West From one scarred hand to the other I know You’ve washed me white Turned my darkness into light I need Your peace to get me through To get me through this night I can’t live by what I feel About the truth Your word reveals And I’m not holding onto You But You’re holding onto me You’re holding onto me Jesus, You know just how far the East is from the West I don't have to see the man I’ve been Come rising up in me again In the arms of Your mercy I find rest (mercy I find rest) You know just how far the East is from the West From one scarred hand to the other (Just how far, the East is from the West, Just how far) From one scarred hand to the other (You know just how far, the East is from the West, Just how far) From one scarred hand to the other |
