California here I come!

In the tradition of SheltieDad's recent thread about coming to Cali... I'm flying out in the AM and will be there until Monday. Preaching in a place that appears to be 40 miles or so out of Los Angeles.

Hoping to have a good time. I like California...

I like CA also. I really have only been in Southern CA in the Los Angeles area and then a little in the desert going to Twenty Nine Palms.

Someday I want to drive the coast highway from San Francisco down to LA.

I was in LA last March for the first time in five years. I used to spend a week or more there every year and I have missed it!

Next February when our ship from Hawaii docks in Los Angeles on a Saturday morning I am going to rent a car and enjoy that one day in LA with my wife before we fly out the next day back to Nashville.

You'll be near where our new church is started. We have a work started since July in Mentone.

I would like to see all of CA except the desert. I have always wanted to go to Big Bear and of course up north go see the giant redwood trees. I would also like to drive through the wine growing region as I understand it is very beautiful.

Fresno has that distinction.

I'm making a trip to Cali in 2 weeks. I will be flying into Orange County airport. I am going to spend a couple of days at my sister's house in Loma Linda. Then, I am going to drive the coastal highway up to San Francisco. (really looking forward to this)
I have a 2 day investment seminar to attend at Franklin Templeton's headquarters in San Fran. Then I fly back to Tennessee.

Is this one of those "no video screens" CA Youth Conferences?
